App Updates for Android and iOS

We've made several great updates to the Android and iOS apps in light of the recent reviews. The 4.0.1 iOS hotfix should be available in the App Store very soon (pending Apple approval) and the 4.0.4 Android hotfix should already be in the Google Play Store. See below for some of the updates!

• We added new search filters in Browse, Search, and Favorites, making it easier to search.
• We fixed multiple issues including incorrect default tracking dates for specific users, and reinstating the My Day header for older Android versions.
• We reformatted My Day to be scrollable, and provided more options to view SmartPoints including Daily Used [SmartPoints], and FitPoints earned.

We've also got a few tips for those of you who may be hearing from Members that their "app doesn't work." In such instances, instead of immediately escalating the concern, please ask them to verify the following information to help resolve their issue on the spot:

• Check operating system. iOS 8 or 9 or greater is required; Android 4
• Make sure app is correct version—version 4.0+
• If both of the above meet the criteria, recommend that the Member uninstall and reinstall the app
• If their mobile device proves not to be compatible, recommend they use the mobile Web, optimized for use on mobile devices, by bookmarking cmx.weightwatchers.com on their mobile device's browser.
