Are you ready to blog?!?!?!

For those of you who have been receiving my newsletters, this will be a totally different type of communication.  Hopefully, it will be one that you will find to be fun and a lot easier to keep up with, given its interactive format.  I want to take the opportunity to welcome those of you who have joined my meetings since the previous newsletter in March; if you would like to receive any of the earlier newsletters, please just drop me an email so I will know where to forward them.


So: why a blog instead of a newsletter?  My husband, who is a graphic artist and designer (see the picture under the heading "My Favorite Artist!") has been regaling me with the advantages of a blog over a newsletter, so I finally decided to take him up on his offer to design and launch one for me.  Now it's my turn to step up and take the bull by the horns, as it were, by posting the various things that I learn from you, the awesome members in my meetings, so that all of my followers can benefit from the expertise that you have developed on your Weight Watchers journeys.


Those of you who have received my newsletters may recognize some things that have appeared since last November.  I am going to include items that never go out of season in some of the archives for this blog, so you will be able to access them at any time that you have a need for them.


I welcome your posts, comments, and anything that pertains to the topics that appear in this blog.  You may want to start a totally different thread of conversation if a particular issue has grabbed your attention - go for it!  Each of you will have the option to customize the notifications you receive whenever a new post appears, so that you don't have to miss any of the discussions that will evolve as we go forward.


I have to admit to being a little nervous about embarking on this new adventure, because I want to do the very best I can for each and every one of you.  But I am also excited at the prospect of learning even more of the myriad, inspiring things that you bring with you on your WW journey, and at the ability for you to share your stories with each other across geographic lines.  So,
