Center Meeting Attendees - New Pre- and Post-Meeting Routines!

To all my awesome members at the Hurst and Watauga centers:

This week we are going to inaugurate some different, outside-the-meeting ways to shake up our interaction and address issues that all of us experience at one time or another:

  • At one-half hour prior to the meeting start time (say, 8:00 for an 8:30 meeting), whoever is so inclined can join me for a walk around the perimeter of the shopping center where the meeting is located.  This will NOT be a competitive power walk, but rather a way to put into practice the types of things we discuss every week.  I mean, think about it: we get to the location nice and early and then we SIT until the start of the meeting?!?!  The walk at the Hurst location took about 10 minutes this morning, and was thoroughly enjoyable.  (We will come up with a Plan B for days when the weather is not so cooperative...)
  • At approximately 15 minutes after the close of the meeting (to allow for presentation of the Simple Start Orientation to any members who stay for it), we will have a 15-minute informal Q&A session to focus on various things like eTools, how to use a WW food scale, or whatever other issues have been lingering in the backs of your minds waiting to be dealt with.
Obviously, participation in either of these brief get-togethers is completely voluntary but, as with so many other social gatherings, the more the merrier!  I will look forward to expanding our horizons together via these new routines.

Have a terrific week, and we will see less of you next time!

Pam
